The Proptimo story

2010

CPL software is founded by Brian Welsh, following a management buyout.

2011

CPL launches one of the first client portals for factored property owners, providing real-time access to account statements, invoices, payments, and updates from their factors. It redefined transparency and convenience in property management.

2015

Client Apps become available. Our team grows to 10 staff, servicing 175,000 properties. We need a bigger office, so we move to Glasgow’s St Vincent Street.

2019

INSPCT, our flexible reporting App, is launched. INSPCT makes reporting available anywhere, online or offline, with an adaptable template builder, options to add photos and unlimited users.

2020

A repairs and maintenance app is released. Our team of 15 are spread across two sites: Glasgow in the north, Southampton in the south. The system now manages 310,000 properties. Time for an even bigger office for the Glasgow team, this time in Woodlands Crescent.

2023

CONNECT is launched – a cloud-based app for unmatched client engagement and communication on-the-go. Our first Head of People & Culture joins us, showing our commitment to our growing team.

2024

CPL Software rebrands as Proptimo, with a team of 32 fantastic people working to deliver the best block management software to you.

People are the heart of Proptimo

Our team of experts has been working with property factors since 2010. In 10 years, we’ve grown from a small number of clients managing 20,000 units with our software, to clients across the map managing over 400,000 units using our software solutions. Our story began in Scotland, and has seen us expand into England, Northern Ireland, and Wales to support block managers across the UK looking for intuitive, intelligent property technology that makes their life easier.
