Meet the management team
Our team of experts has been working with property factors since 2010. In 15 years, we’ve grown from a small number of clients managing 20,000 units with our software, to clients across the map managing over 400,000 units using our software solutions. Our story began in Scotland, and has seen us expand into England, Northern Ireland, and Wales to support property managers across the UK looking for intuitive, intelligent property technology that makes their life easier.

Founder & CEO
My biggest achievement has been growing the businesses I’m involved with. I started Proptimo (then called CPL Software) in 2010 and the business now serves over 95% of the private Scottish factoring market. I was also part of the leadership team at a successful legal software company that was focused on building high-value customer experiences, exiting following its acquisition.
Brian enjoys being a dad to his two sons, going to festivals and listening to all kinds of music, old and new. He is a keen golfer and once had 5 birdies in one round of golf, not bad for an 18 handicapper – he has never repeated the feat…

Will joined Proptimo (then CPL Software) in 2010 as Lead Developer and quickly progressed to development manager, he now heads all development teams across the business. He has developed strong relations with existing clients to deliver individual software requirements. Will has excellent team management skills which he uses to guide, coach and mentor his development teams. Will has a BSc in Computer Science.
He enjoys gaming, playing the guitar, running and likes to keep up to date with cutting edge programming technologies. Will is married to his lovely wife, and is a doting father to his beautiful daughter.

Fran Megson joined Proptimo in February 2024 as Operations Director to lead Operational functions and introduce robust client-facing processes.
Fran has more than 20 years’ experience in the delivery of enterprise scale and global software solutions. She has a passion for problem-solving and thrives on identifying and overcoming the key challenges in operational software delivery to ensure that our customers always receive best-in-class services. Fran aims to maximise and optimise people’s performance and processes to ensure our customers get true value and actionable results from using our products.
With two teenage daughters and Charlie the German Shepherd at home, she is never short of entertainment (or mess!) but still manages to fit in a passion for netball, competing weekly the local league and umpiring for the region at weekends.

As the People and Culture Director, Helen is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that attract, retain and develop top talent. A big part of this is ensuring that we have a positive and inclusive working environment, where our actions reflect our core values.
Helen is passionate about ensuring our people at Proptimo thrive, that they have the opportunity to develop themselves and have a strong sense of belonging.
Outside of work, Helen has two young children and a rescue dog called Daisy who keep her busy. When she finds a minute, you can find Helen in her local canals on her kayak or by the beach!
Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager
Tom is Proptimo’s Business Development Manager as we seek to expand into the English, Welsh & Northern Irish private property management market. He is responsible for the management of the full sales cycle, taking a consultative approach to doing business with potential new clients to ensure our software is right for them.
Tom is a dab hand at identifying businesses and organisations who may benefit from our software and spends a lot of his time meeting new clients, attending trade shows, events and liaising with industry professionals. He is approachable, friendly, and always open to having a chat.
Tom is a huge car, F1 and watch nerd, and can often be found at a Grand Prix. He also loves to keep active spending his spare time in the gym and on the badminton court and he used to compete in track cycling and has even completed the London Olympic triathlon!

Chris brings over a decade of experience in the property management sector, with a strong focus on service charge accounting. Having worked extensively with property management companies, Chris understands the complexities of managing client accounts, service charges and compliance. Now, as a Product Consultant, Chris is dedicated to helping businesses streamline their processes by delivering tailored solutions and ensuring smooth implementation of key products.
Though new to the consulting role, Chris's deep expertise in property management provides a strong foundation for offering strategic insights and valuable support to clients. Chris is passionate about using technology to solve industry challenges, ensuring companies operate more efficiently.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time in nature, finding peace in the outdoors and taking the opportunity to recharge and reflect.

Leigh joined Proptimo in 2024 and provides experience in implementing robust processes and procedures that streamline the software implementation lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, and to the highest quality standards.
She takes pride in guiding customers through every phase of the project, from initial planning to final deployment, with a focus on clear communication and collaboration. By tailoring our approach to each customer, Leigh ensures that the software implementation is not only smooth but also aligns with Proptimo’s business goals.
Outside of work, Leigh is an avid reader and music enthusiast, passions that enhance her creativity and problem-solving skills.

Her strategic mindset and problem-solving skills help her guide both customers and colleagues through challenges with confidence and care.
